That’s why I don’t really like sports anime that much. There’s too many cliches and plot armors that make the MC/ Main team always win even if the anime has to define its logic. In order words the double standard are a huge problem in this genre. A long as the story remains enjoyable I’m all for it, but the fights are really just forced at this point.
